Mission

Global Legal Solutions is a project-based company providing information, ideas, analysis, and solutions to global environmental, trade, and social problems through an interdisciplinary approach aimed at promoting sustainable development.

What we do

* Research and analysis on public international law and policy within an environmental, trade and development context.

* Policy analysis and formulation, in the context of specific institutions such as the World Bank and WTO, and more generally with a view to integrate environment, development, and trade policy. 

* Drafting policy, normative standards, and multilateral environmental agreements.

* Assisting developing countries in formulating sustainable development strategies and action plans.

* Providing developing countries with information on the UN process in the context of negotiations on international environmental and trade agreements.

* Supporting non-governmental organizations (NGOs) in their effort to influence the policy of intergovernmental organizations to promote sustainable development

* Working with intergovernmental organizations and governments to meet the same goals.

* Working with multinational corporations with an interest in corporate social responsibility

* Increasing awareness of environmental threats such as climate change to human health and the planet.

* Preparing presentations, reports, journal articles, and capacity-building documents.
